Joe's holding a sleeping Will after he just got soaked by an 'epic tidal wave;).' In all seriousness, we rented what was called a cater ring (large circular hard plastic raft/boat) with a grill in the center last Saturday on Lake Zurich. We ended up having perfect weather and enjoyed slowly putzing along on our little craft; grilling, swimming, drinking, looking at an elderly man fishing with no clothes on, eating (despite what we'd just seen), etc. We really did hit a bit of current at one point and water soaked a few folks, including Will who was napping in his bouncy chair on the ground. Luckily, no one was too upset by it and we were able to check boating on the lake off the proverbial list.
