Foggy, Rainy, Crisp...Fall's here

 

Although I can't say either of us are excited about it, cause fall quickly turns to winter here. It's dark when we wake up, and dark when we get home from work. You know the drill; it's the same situation the world over. At least the farmer up the street has gordes for sale again this year as lugging excessive amounts of squash from the grocery gets old quick. The only clear upside to this situation is rich foods (one of the few food areas the Swiss do well), such as our dinner tonight (please let Joe leave work before 9) Zürcher Geschnetzeltes. Bring on the baby cow in cream sauce, the soups, the raclettes and fondues, with a side of hibernation and weight gain.
