Our good friends, Erin & Lachland gave birth to a baby boy, William Patrick, yesterday. Joe woke me up to tell me the good news this morning, but all I could respond with was...THEY STOLE OUR NAME. In utero they called the baby Toby, as it was "made in Switzerland" just like Toblerone chocolate. Maybe I'll just pretend that's his actual name so I can someday carry on as planned.
Other than this exciting news, nothing is happening. Hence, the lack of recent information. We are laying low, ordering inexpensive American wares like their is no tomorrow and counting down the days until we get on the jet plane.
Hope all you Americans enjoy your short week & your juiced turkeys. Come Thursday evening (after we both get off work), you can find us feeling sorry for ourselves as we enjoy some bar food, beer & multiple televisions playing American football (one day a year;). Keep your fingers crossed that we can find a classier establishment than Hooter's this year.
